Who We Are
-
Growing up with his hands in wood and his seat on a horse, Jeri Sparshu’s transition into working metal began when he started blacksmithing as part of his horseshoeing career. He quickly became fascinated with forge work and focused on learning both aspects of the craft. After 25 years, it is has become the number one focus.
Permanently relocating from Alberta to the west coast in 2012, he and his wife Alison, also a farrier and artist, moved to Salt Spring Island in 2014. Setting up a forge and small farm has provided no shortage of things to fill their days, however creativity abounds in between the daily chores.
